Gluth Brothers Roofing Company Inc., headquartered in Hammond, Indiana, is a family-owned roofing contractor established in 1886. For 140 years, the company has provided commercial and residential roofing services throughout Northwest Indiana and the surrounding region. Services include roof replacements, recovers, repairs, sheet metal fabrication, and preventative maintenance programs.
All roofing, sheet metal, and carpentry work is performed by in-house employees. The company also operates an in-house sheet metal fabrication shop. Gluth Brothers Roofing is licensed, bonded, insured, and certified by all major roofing manufacturers. The company focuses on delivering high-quality workmanship and practical roofing solutions while maintaining long-standing relationships with customers throughout the region.
Now in its 140th year of operation, Gluth Brothers Roofing remains the longest-operating roofing contractor in Northwest Indiana.

Our history.
Where We Started
1886
In 1886, William Gluth started a small, local roofing company in Hammond, Indiana.

How We Grew
1918
In 1918 William and his son, Henry R. Gluth, became business partners and started Consumers Roofing Company. In 1952 Henry R. Gluth and his sons, Henry Jr., Chester, and Robert, incorporated Consumers Roofing Company.
Where We Are Now
1992 - Present
In 1992 Henry Jr. Gluth’s sons Brian, Russell, Eric, and Randy formed Gluth Brothers Roofing Company Inc.
