What is a T&M roof repair?
A Time & Material service call involves dispatching experienced roofing technicians to investigate reported roof conditions and perform minor repairs to observable roof deficiencies. Work is billed based on the actual labor time spent from portal to portal and materials used. Because roof conditions are not fully known prior to investigation, a fixed price is not provided in advance.
When is a T&M appropriate?

What to expect
Leaks VS Roof Deficiencies
Gluth Brothers Roofing does not repair “leaks” as a standalone service. Roof leaks are symptoms of defects. Our technicians identify and repair visible and accessible roof deficiencies that are believed to be contributing to water intrusion. By repairing these deficiencies, the intent is to reduce or eliminate the reported leak condition; however, the exact source of water intrusion cannot always be conclusively identified during a single service visit.

When a more in-depth repair is needed
If, during the inspection, our service technician determines that the issue requires more than a simple repair, the technician will pause the work and notify you immediately. At that time, an estimator will prepare a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work and associated costs for a more extensive roof repair. Should you decide to proceed with the proposal, the deposit you provided for the Time & Material Repair will be automatically applied toward the new project.
